This eye catching hand painted oil on canvas art work loyally reproduces the original oil on canvas painting created by Paul Cézanne somewhere between 1895 to 1900 – Many of Cézanne’s paintings are notoriously difficult to date as the artist rarely signed and dated his work. The original was titled Un coin de table - A corner table – And is now a part of the collection at the The Barnes Foundation, Merion, Pennsylvania. Un coin de table was created during Cézanne’s final years in Provence. From around 1890 Cézanne would withdraw from society concentrating his attention upon his work and living as a virtual recluse.
