Marie-Thérèse Walterwas the model and mistress of Pablo Picasso for many years. They met when she was in her early teens and Picasso was in his mid forties, which was around 1927. In many of his earlier oil painting of Marie she is depicted as a bright and youthful sunshine blond. For example in Le Rêve(The Dream) that was produced in 1932.
