Fire Storm is a three piece canvas art set that is vivid in color and ominous in subject. Within nature the Fire Storm is a natural phenomenon. When a fire occurs naturally the heat can build to such extremes that it creates turbulence. As a result the fire and winds combine into an incredible tornado of erratic fire whirls. Indeed, there are times when the Firestorm has become so erratic and intense that it has created a destructive tornado that has raged for days...even weeks.

The Fire Storm has become a landscape frequently depicted by contemporary artists. Perhaps this is because these natural occurrences are becoming more frequent – And the question is why? Global warming is manmade. So while a Fire Storm may be emphatically natural, they can be and are provoked by man’s disregard for his environment: Which brings us back to this picture.

In this composition the artist has chosen NOT chosen to depict the Firestorm in a literal sense. Instead this oil painting holds an ominous warning of what seems to be waiting upon the horizon – both visually and philosophically. Right now, here within this picture, those calm blue waters are undisturbed by the ominous red clouds gathering in the distance: The question is will the viewer be equally unperturbed? – An interesting composition indeed.
